PaidContent.Org: What Netflix Wants Next (Hint: Not In-Season TV Shows)
Yo Netflix I already own all the Oz DVD seasons & while streaming them is a nice convenience (meaning I don’t have to fish them out of my vast store of DVDs to watch them) with the current fire sale pricing of DVDs, it might be cheaper for me to buy the older titles so I can avoid being a ‘monthly payment consumer’ i.e. I have to pay a bill every month, I don’t own a copy I can do as I please with (within the bounds of relevant laws), I only get to *access* the media on someone else’s terms.
Really Netflix, you ought to be financing webseries instead, they’re cheaper (MSN will only pay $3000 per 5 minute episode, $100000 per already seen Glee episode looks spendy by comparison) & the content is new & fresh.
